This is a shoutout to all the metro and macho males out there. Skincare is not for women only. Skincare is for men and women. If browsing the skincare aisles is not your thing, don’t worry. You can safely share your girlfriend’s, sister’s, or Mom’s Dawn body lotions and creams.

American celebrity dermatologist, Dr Ellen Marmur says male skin is totally different from female skin on some levels, and exactly the same on others. “Male hormones tend to produce more oil on a man's face than on a woman. But, if men shave every day, that exfoliates the skin, which can lead to dryness. And using shaving cream, which is a form of soap, may dry it out even more. If it does, use a light moisturizer,” Marmur advises.
A word of advice, just as your man may not want to smell of roses, before you share your man’s skincare product, make sure that you enjoy masculine scents. Some men’s products have an overpowering smell that may be too strong for some women.
